Constant Crashing after SU9?

Featured Replies

Is anyone else seeing this?  I've crashed to desktop 3 times out of the last 5 flights.  I've not had this problem until recently.  Doesn't seem to matter what aircraft, it's happened with both the DA62 and the PMDG 737.  It always happens at about half way through the flight.

It kind of makes me not want to bother with MSFS.  Too much trouble and disappointment.  If it crashed this often IRL, I would never go anywhere.

I'm starting to forget what it's like to land.

Rename your Community folder and run MSFS again, and MSFS will create an empty Community folder with no add-ons.

90% of the time, it’s an add-on that is causing the CTD. Could be an add-on in your Community folder.  Marketplace add-ons are also a possibility.

You can also run MSFS in safe-mode after a CTD, to see if you still get CTDs. MSFS in safe mode should be stable because all add-ons are disabled, I think even the add-ons from the Marketplace.

Thanks, but the only thing in my community folder is the PMDG 737.
