Fenix Engine start FF keeps dancing

Featured Replies

Hi, after pushback i enabled APU Bleed and set my Thrustmaster TCA to engine IGN on and turned on the left starter as i always do in other aircraft but this time it just kept injected fuel (280 /0)  and cutoff off all the time instantly making it impossible to start the engines.

What can be wrong ? The engine fuel starters is in the up position.

Thanks Michael Moe

Fuel pumps on? (no lights on) APU bleed on (green light)?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Had the same issue.   Ended up unbinding the TCA throttle master switch and all was good.  Today I saw a YT video from 320 Sim Pilot explaining the correct binding.  I have to try that.

Just watch the video and try that binding....  It seems to work for him.   I also reported this to the Fenix team.

******* i just spent 70 minutes preparing and back to desktop.

Thanks for the info  , they should have had a profile ready for us. The switches is moving so its impossible to know they did not bind them correctly.

That video did not help either on my end. Tried it from gate with the APU on with bleed and all fuel pumps.

I looked into the binding last night and the default binding for engines 1 and 2 switches are also assigned to other commands (like opening fuel valves etc) that I eliminated.  So I created a profile for the fenix and removed those.   Now I can use the full quadrant again.  😀

Again I recommend you watch the video I referenced above.  It helped a lot.
