Today's update

I had a small up date waiting for me when I fired up my sim this morning and since installing it I have crashed to desktop twice. Once in mid flight and the other after I completed a flight. Anyone else had this happen today?

The small update was for the newly released Top Gun DLC. I have not had any issues since that update installed on my system, and I have started and ended MSFS a few times since. Also, completed two long flights, one in the Fenix A320 and one in the PMDG 737 since the small update and no CTD's. At least not yet 🙃

Looking at only the modified files, it only added the new TopGun tile and loading screens.

Yes, totally exactly the same thing.  And then i lost all my yoke, throttle assignments, had to reset. Third try everything worked.  This sim is crazy at times.

I deleted my last 6 additions to the Community folder and things seem to have settled down. I am never quite sure what these small tweaks and updates do. Some say nothing, others say updates like SU9 are disaster. On the whole though we seem to be progressing in the right direction for most people.
