KPDX 28R IIAP ILS FIXED!

Featured Replies

Great news for KPDX fans. FlightBeam just released an update through the MSFS marketplace to fix KPDX taxi ways and runways. Specifically they finally
fixed the ILS approach 111.30 called IIAP to KPDX 28R. I did a fly about with my FBW A320 and yes, IAP is indeed fixed
and fully functional. 😄

I could be wrong but I think the Contrail KPDX is already up to date.  It came out Apr 19 (v1.3.0) and mentions reworked taxiways and runways, restore sid/star data, etc.

On the Flightbeam site it shows this:

KPDX (MSFS): STARS MISSING DURING APPROACH WITH LATEST PATCH

This issue has been resolved in the latest patch, available now if you purchased in the Flightbeam Store. Update will later be available via the MSFS Marketplace (Updates take 4-6 weeks to be published by Microsoft)

So it looks like instead of 4-6 weeks it took about 8 weeks to get to the MS store.

Even right now, I cannot get the Flightbeam website to work for me to show an update for KPDX so I missed that April advisory. It's just as well as I would prefer the marketplace have the update. I've never been to the Contrail site, it looks like a brokerage for many product makers including Flightbeam. No matter, I would have waited for the marketplace to post it, so it's all good.
