FBW A320 managed descent
I know how to set crz alt, cost, index, zfw, block, sid, star, flaps, flex, v1, v2, Vr, etc. All was working properly up until the update on Jun 24. I will go check on documentation and see if there are recent videos. Until then, at least i have the Stable version working like the Dev version used to. Thanks for the assistance to all.

So i set it to None and then do my thing in the FMS. Same things as in my pictures. Not sure what i need to do in PERF pages for CLB, CRZ, DES, APPR, etc. Hmm...... Here are pics from PERF:

FBW A320 managed descent
OK, I created the plan in Simbrief and imported. EFB at 'Load Only'. I then added departing runaway and sid, arriving runway and star. This is what i see in the Flt Plan. So basically no altitudes but for 8000 at SEGOD and no T/C and T/D. What am I missing and/or what did I do incorrectly? Thanks

FBW A320 managed descent
Hi Watsi, Thanks for that. I do have an issue i alluded to earlier like on page 2. Maybe i should create a new post rather than add to this but I've already posted about it here. I have the EFB set to 'Load Only'. I use the world map to create the flight plan. Once the aircraft is powered on and i check the the flight plan in the FMS it does not show departing runway, T/C, T/D, arriving runway, etc. This only happens using development. Stable works properly. Dev used to work properly up until like June 24 when I think some update occurred and changed things. I've tried with an empty community folder but still same. Here are some pics, but not as many as my last post with pics. Flight Plan: FLT in FMS: If i scroll through the above you will not see altitude levels, T/C. T/D, etc. Here is the same plan from Stable: And scrolling through you see altitude levels, T/C, T/D, etc. Any thoughts as to what may be going on? Thanks as always.

FBW A320 managed descent
Hi Watsi, If using the world map to flight plan what is the correct setting in the EFB. I still cannot get things working properly like they used to and now using the Stable version. Would like to go back to development at some point. Thanks

FBW A320 managed descent
I use the world map to enter a flight, choosing runways and sid/star. FMC shows plan but no runways. I go to edit the flight plan to add departing runway with sid and arrival runway with star. I then go thru the plan to get rid of discontinuities and notice that it now showing many flight levels. It shows 640 for the takeoff runway and then closer to arrival runway it shows 8000, then a bit later 6000, and then 3000 until the arrival runway where it shows 620. It's no wonder managed descent doesn't work as the flight level details are missing in the FMC. Here are some pictures: So now i add departing and arriving details, etc. and go thru the plan:

@Andy675 Are you creating flight plan via World Map or Simbrief? I don't fly on Vatsim so I use the World Map to flight plan. I ask because something else i recall when this issue started happening is that when i create the plan via the map and start the aircraft the FMC doesn't show departing on arriving runways and the flight plan is a mess. I have to enter runways manually and then choose the correct SID and STAR and then clean up any discontinuities. I wonder if this is somehow related to the managed descent issue. I'm hoping to have time in about 8 hours to take a quick flight and get some screenshots. I too seem to think this problem started after the update, around June 24. Not sure if that was the update that included the 'missed approach' display

I've experienced the same issue as Andy and I too reverted to the stable version where issue does not occur. I haven't checked the PROG page as TuomasV suggested so will next chance I get.

MSFS Adaptive LOD
Better?

MSFS Adaptive LOD
Does the below make sense as a starting point? Thanks

MSFS Adaptive LOD
It's likely somewhere in the previous pages but I could not find. Is there a preferred TLOD/Levels settings if I only fly airliners? It seems like some use lots of levels while others don't. I haven't tried this yet and would like the smoothest transitions. I have a i7-12700K CPU. Thanks
