  1. Looks like the pause fail is getting an update. Latest beta changelog shows this: changed timer for sim pause (fail only if pause > 5mins)
  2. Does the below make sense as a starting point? Thanks
  3. It's likely somewhere in the previous pages but I could not find. Is there a preferred TLOD/Levels settings if I only fly airliners? It seems like some use lots of levels while others don't. I haven't tried this yet and would like the smoothest transitions. I have a i7-12700K CPU. Thanks
  4. Throttle is calibrated the the levers move to the where they are supposed to go.
  5. So I did some further testing. I tried with the default Asobo A320, from the gate and it worked. I then tested FBW A320 from the gate and it too worked. Here is the pic from ECAM: Wonder if the test with the Asobo A320 triggered whatever was messing up before to reset itself or something. Hmm.....I guess we shall see. Again, not really a big deal as reverse thrust does work and that's really all that counts.
  6. The reversers do work in that when I land and put the engines in reverse the plane slows downs as it should. I can also hear the sound of the reverse thrust. I happened to go to external view once and saw the sleeve wasn't open. Thought it was maybe a one off thing until I saw it again. Then thought maybe it was the livery I used was old so tried another one but same issue. Then i thought maybe it was the SIM. I was having some other issues not related to this that over time got worse. Then I decided to just uninstall and reinstall the SIM to fix those issues, which it did, and thought this issue would also resolve but it did not. So then I did further testing and found under what conditions the sleeve would move and when it would not. It's not the end of the world just strange so thought I would post and see if anyone has seen this and knew how to resolve. I will try to get a picture from the ECAM later and post it. I'm also going to try the Asobo A320 and see if the issue also happens with it. Thanks
  7. It's not that reverse thrust doesn't work, it's that depending on where the flight starts from (gate or runway) the mechanism of the reverse thrust doesn't slide back and open on the engines Reverse thrust at gate: Reverse thrust on runway: And the same holds for landing. If flight starts at gate the mechanism doesn't open on engines on landing and putting engines into reverse. If flight starts on runway the mechanism opens the engines on landing when put into reverse. It's a strange issue.
  8. I have a reverse thrust mechanism issue and hoping someone can help. If I start flight on runway and throw engines into reverse the mechanism opens on the engines. If I load up at the gate the mechanism doesn't open. If I start the flight from the gate, when the plane lands at the destination the mechanism doesn't open. Reverse thrust works as the plane slows down as it should just the mechanism doesn't open. If I start flight from runaway and land at destination mechanism opens. Anyone seen this before. Doesn't matter what livery I use including the FBW liveries. This is with a clean install of MSFS today, though issue was hapenning before the clean install. Thanks
  9. Coming soon: According to a post on the flightsimulator.com forums I see this by on of the community managers: As of this writing, we have not announced the exact release time. Anything you see from a non-Microsoft source (including the volunteer community moderators) is only speculation. Stay patient, folks. The World Update will be here soon enough. Thanks, MSFS Team
  10. It could by a Realtek Audio driver. I was having CTD issues and that turned out to be the culprit. Don't remember the exact name but in "Programs and Features" i saw some Realtek driver that I installed prior to CTD and removing that resolved the issue. And yes, get rid of Norton.
  11. Yeah but it's not like I'm over the city low enough for some amount of time to see things closely so just wondering if it's still worth it.

  13. If I only fly airliners, like B737 and A320 are these still worth purchasing? Thanks
