June 19, 20224 yr I agree, it's a horrible interface. X-Plane is much more friendly in this regard. No swinging your head around if you happen to use trackIR. June 19, 20224 yr I find the drone camera controls the most awkward. It's probably better with an Xbox controller. Not sure if it's worth investing in one - I don't use drone view all that much. What I do for cockpit views for each plane is save some custom views. Usually I raise the viewpoint a bit then ctrl-shift-0 to save. Then bind "Load custom camera 0" to my HOTAS Warthog stick. I also save custom views for right and left look, as well as right-rear and left-rear. This is very useful when doing circuits. I also bind "Reset cockpit view" to my stick so it's easy to go back to the default view. Then there's the instrument views. Most planes have default instruments views. I bind the following: "Toggle instrument view 1", "Previous instrument view" and "Next instrument view". If I want to cycle through the views I hit the button for Instrument view 1, then Previous/Next. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
June 19, 20224 yr +1, Way too many options and an unintuitive interface means that after 2 years I still have only the bare basic views set up, I thought about delving deeper a couple of times but after the second instance of an update wiping out any setting Id customised I simply Cant Be A****
