June 20, 20223 yr I normally fly the TBM and would like to change the standard pilots weight. Where is the .cfg file to do this please.
June 20, 20223 yr File is "flight_model.cfg" found inside the aircraft folder, such as: [...]<aircraft-name>\SimObjects\Airplanes\<aircraft-name> Search for the section tittled [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] You will usually find it in station_load.0. Example: station_load.0 =170, 1.64, 0, -0.4, TT:MENU.PAYLOAD.PILOT, 1 But as you know, you can manually change it in the Load & Ballance menu, within the sim session. Just don't get too fat or too thin... June 20, 20223 yr Just a related question about setting weights: I've been away from MSFS for around a year, and when setting weights in the menu I used to be able to tab between the input fields. Now I can only switch to the next field by clicking the mouse, and it's a bit annoying to fill out several fields without being able to tab to the next field. Has something changed in an update somewhere, or is something wrong at my end?

Not absolutely sure about it but it can be related to an option regarding Legacy mouse / keyboard vs "new" interaction mode. I don't have MFS here so can't check it but give this a try: ~ In the general settings and Accessibility tab, one of the option says “Lock” change that to “Legacy”. It's not good for your health !!! 🙂 Thanks for the info. I just like it to reflect my weight as the pilot at startup. 170 is a little on the low side for me.🍔
