June 25, 20223 yr Even though my current hardware works flawlessly, it is outdated and underpowered per today's standards (I had a separate post on this issue). I am planning on testing MSFS on my current platform anyway but here is the question. From a software perspective, does MSFS have any conflicts with FSX and/or its numerous addons ? Directories, operating system settings, shared components, etc. I don't want to screw-up FSX, where I continue to do a lot of flying, as I test MSFS. If anyone has any knowledge on this issue, I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks. zachlog
June 25, 20223 yr I have MSFS, FSX, P3Dv4 and other flightsims on the same PC and did not notice any conflict between MSFS and FSX. Please note that my FSX install is light: only 2 payware addons aircrafts and 3 addons sceneries. June 25, 20223 yr MSFS' file system is completely changed from FSX so there are no conflicts and they can coexist happily side by side.
