June 29, 20223 yr I just purchased the Leonardo Mad Dog MD-82 and for some reason I can't get past the registration screen. I purchased from Sim Market and on the Registration screen I put in my email as on file from Sim Market and the Registration Key but all it says is "Contacting Server" for a while then eventually another box pops up saying "The registration program was unable to contact server". I tried running as administrator and disabling my anti virus software but nothing helps. Pretty annoyed I spent $78 USD on a piece of software I can't use. Any idea what I might be missing? Its almost as if my profile has not been set up yet at the developer and nothing will work until they do.

Otherwise it would say „invalid registration code“ or something. Anyway contact Leonardo, they will help you out quickly. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. June 29, 20223 yr Author Yep it must have been a server issue at the other end. This morning I registered and it went thru as normal. Yay, I can now check out my new toy! Because of the current times we live in my budget is limited at 2 payware aircraft and 2 scenery packages per month. Last month was a busy month and already reached my allowed allotment so I had to patiently wait until now to get the Mad Dog. Not having the registration process working correctly was a major drag. Its only because this hobby is such an addiction..LOL
June 29, 20223 yr Author I must have got lucky with the exchange rate. Before purchase the exchange rate was 75 Euro at $78 USD. I just checked my credit card since many times you get hit at a retail rate for the exchange and its a little higher or lower depending on how you look at it. My posted credit card amount is actually $79.56 buying it yesterday. Still a pretty good deal on the exchange. Back in the day when the Euro was strong this plane would have cost well over $100 USD. Not sure what is going on today but if the rates are similar it might be a good time to stock up on stuff hosted by European companies.
