June 11, 200718 yr Hi, does anyone know how to do this. I recently installed a freeware aircraft, and when I removed it, I removed all the gauges that came with it, well, unfortunately, a lot of default stuff came with it so I ended up removing a few critical gauges, like my Baron has no primary instruments now, just holes that I can see the ground through. Thanks,Jeff Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
June 11, 200718 yr I would think that the 'repair' option in FSX setup would fix this, or have you tried that already? -Scotty
June 12, 200718 yr Haven't tried, but am pretty worried about it, because I have all of my addons installed already, and I think FSX may overwrite my addons using the repair option. This is just after uninstalling FSX, then removing my video card drivers, then reinstalling my vid card drivers, then reinstalling FSX. Thank you for your reply though. If you could, would you or someone else take a screenshot of your gauges folder so I can see what I'm missing. Thanks,Jeff Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD

The Repair function will ONLY restore/replace files corrupted of missing that are default FSX. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
