aircraft cfg file missing

Featured Replies

I was looking for the 737-800 cfg file but only find state.cfg file under the 737-800 folder no aircraft.cfg file

That's odd.  I presume you are referring to the default FSX B737-800.  If so, it should have an aircraft.cfg file.  Did your cfg file somehow get renamed?

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

The state.cfg files are normally stored in their specific aircraft folders, but not in the normal location that we go to for the other files, such as sound files, aircraft cfg, etc.

You probably went here:  Your Drive Letter:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\SimObjects\B737_800

You need to go here:  Your Drive Letter:\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\B737_800  (i.e. to your main FSX folder/directory).

Hope you can locate it.
