Many of us have described this possible situation with online-only gaming, only to be derided as 'old fashioned' or having a 'boomer mindset'. When MSFS eventually gets pulled for the next big thing (probably MSFS 2), I won't be buying the 'upgraded' DLC just to replace what I currently have.
