Sure there are some issues in this sim but particularly in these comparison videos we, as viewers, don't know what the conditions were like in the real video. I've flown ILS's IRL without barely touching the controls because the atmosphere was so stable. I was properly trimmed with proper power settings. I've also flown in very rough conditions where I constantly had to dance with the yoke and power settings the entire way to the ground. I think sometimes people see a comparison video and they think "oh look how wobbly the real video was, MSFS/FSX/XP11/sim of choice is on rails." Real life flying can feel like you're on a railway too! Excellent point Ryan! Everyone should take note of this. The video is comparing the scenery and not the flight dynamics. There are just too many variables between the sim and real flying (especially weather) where I could reverse the appearance of the flight smoothness. There are occasional days when I have been out flying with a solid overcast high ceiling and negligible wind at about 2,500’. Not very often, but it does happen. The flight is ultra smooth without a single bump. Trimmed and total hands off like the plane is on autopilot and autoland. Yeah I had tried the XP 10 demo with the 172 and it was very different than the 172 in FSX more dynamic is the word I would use and MSFS 172 falls somewhere in between, I'm no real pilot so sure what to believe (this was all done with calm weather), you being a RWP I will take your word on it.
