July 23, 20223 yr During several flights I have made in MSFS that I experience that P2A does not give final vectors towards the airport for approach and landing. If I follow ATC I just travel past the airport. I am using version 2.6.3.1 of P2A.
July 23, 20223 yr Commercial Member ATC only gives vectors to an airport is certain situations. Normally you might just be cleared for an arrival and/or approach, at which point it's up to the pilot to follow the approved procedures. If you have a specific flight that you think had a problem, try updating to the latest Public Beta 6 of 2.6.3.2 as that version does fix some vectoring issues. If that has a problem, then email your P2A log file to [email protected] and I can have a look. P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. Dave

After passing the airport I turned left towards the airport, and then ATC started to tell me to turn north again.
July 23, 20223 yr Commercial Member When you are getting vectors to final, you should press the APPR button to the right of the map. The map will then display the intended vector route in Gold and you will be able to see where it is trying to take you. Dave

When I load up this flight plan and press the Appr button I am told that there are no approaches (no approaches available at ESGP)
July 24, 20223 yr Commercial Member Then that means that airport has no published approaches to the selected runway. Try a different runway or pick a larger airport. There is a single IFR approach to ESGP, an RNAV to Runway 19. Dave

July 24, 20223 yr Commercial Member No. If there are no published approaches, you can request vectors to a visual straight-in, but the weather must be above VFR minimums to fly that. If you're on an IFR flight plan, and the winds are favorable for runway 19, then P2A would assign the RNAV approach, depending on your Config settings. Dave
