Varjo / MSFS Questions

Featured Replies

Hi all. I am just starting to set up my new Varjo Aero to use with MSFS. I have a couple of questions:

1. Does the headset/Varjo Base support DX12 yet for VR?

2. When using the headset for MSFS, should Open VR and Open XR be turned on in Varjo Base? If not, what configuration should be used?

Thanks,

Rob

Hi Rob,

please make sure you have set "OPEN XR" to use in Varjo Base Software. OPEN VR won´t be needed with MSFS

The headset does support DX12

You need STEAM and STEAM VR installed, because the headset needs the STEAM BASE Station for the DOF tracking.

You do not need to run Steam VR anymore, after you have setup the headset.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. By following Varjo instructions to do some uninstalls and reinstalls I now get an image when I press the VR keys defined for that. But the image seems to be jumping all over the place. I am so new to the Aero I am, not sure what to check. Does eye tracking have anything to do with it?

Any help greatly appreciated. After spending the money on the Aero, two base stations, and two controllers, it would be nice if I could enjoy MSFS in the headset.
