Hello SOCAL fans! Here are some Work-in-Progress development pics of my next project Brown Field Muni (KSDM), located south of San Diego, right at the Mexican border. Project has reached 70% so far. Actually, you never know.

As with my previous scenery and due to my limited skills, my work is mostly made with stocked objects and the included MSFS Scenery Editor. It’s designed from the pilot’s eyes perspective. See Montgomery, Ramona, Gillespie and Oceanside at flightsim.to.

If you have exclusive pictures, please feel free to share. So far, I rely on Bing "View Bird's eye", Google Map (and the date difference between the two's). Plus some Flickr pictures to identity some taxiway signs and Youtube videos. But there isn't much content available online on Brown Field, so if you have pictures or video that can help me on designing this small airfield, please let me know. For example, I'm looking for pictures of these signs visible on airside:

We're approaching the release. Still some tests and fine tuning for this freeware.

Searching for data on this airport, I discovered that the main runway was one of the longest of South California. Formerly a military base, FA-18 from Miramar are regularly coming at the Mexican border for training. Even the Air France Concorde came for the local airshow in 1980.
