Inibuilds Heathrow v2. Should I?

That LOD will stutter in any part of the world.  I have a high end rig and have mine set to 100.  Anything above and it will stutter.

Doesn't work that way for me. I have compromised recently on TLOD=300, but was previously running at 400 or even 500. Most places are stutter free, but not all, certainly. From my own experience it seems to be as much an issue with the servers as anything else - I get occasional bursts of stuttering out in way simple open countryside, often followed by the "insufficient bandwidth" message (my bandwidth is fine), and that happens most often in the evenings on Friday or Saturday over here. On a Monday morning I can fly all around Manhattan with everything on max and a ton of addons active and it is all as smooth as butter. Specs in sig, running at 4k and most settings at ultra. As regards EGLL, I held off until the combination of a sale on the Marketplace (I don't buy from there unless I have to or there's a really good deal) and the release of v2. EGLL in the premium version of MSFS is pretty good anyway, and also a resource hog, but at the right price I thought the IniBuilds version was worth having and didn't add much more overhead than the base version.

If you really want to bring the system to a halt, run the IniBuilds EGLL, along with AIG and the "Elephants at Heathrow" package (it's on .to). That'll teach you patience <grin>

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Yup, that'll be the ultimate test of whether your rig is up to the task, lol. Better do some liquid nitrogen OC though 😅
