PRO ATC/SR ATC audio only when game is paused

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,
two days ago I bought PRO ATC/SR and since then I'm experiencing a big issue with the ATC: basically, I can only hear some random parts of the ATC transmission unless I pause the game or hold the right-click mouse button.
Strangely everything works fine with the checklist.

I already tried writing a post on pointsoft forum but the developer said It could be "all and everything" 😕 ; also on the Microsoft Forum another guy has my same problem.

Any ideas?

There a Windows sound setting you need to change.  Something like Exclusive Mode.  It's in the help.. Quickstart guide. Maybe this will help.

Did that already sadly

When you go to Windows Volume Mixer (right click speaker in systray) under Apps  is the Pro-ATC volume turned up high enough?

Yeah, and no help at all. Seems like not a very common problem

No surprise there.

for what it's worth... I dont have this product but I can say I did the windows update about a week ago an it whacked out a lot of my audio stuff.  MS Teams (for work) had to reinstalled along with sound drivers.  Still not up to snuff.

Hello
I have exactly the same problem that Alfrez describes.
When I am in msfs 2020 in a gate and activate the Pro ATC program, the ATC audio is heard choppy and is constantly interrupted. The curious thing is that if I keep the right mouse button pressed, the audio is perfect and without interruptions and when I stop pressing, the problem reappears. The ATC is also heard perfectly if I exit with the Esc key.

I followed the installation instructions and unchecked the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" box.
I've also tried on Sound then elect the fan Communiation and then elect Do nothing, but still no result
I don't understand what could be happening.

I would appreciate any help in that regard.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi everyone,

I've just discovered that the problem is being caused by the honeycomb Bravo Throttle quadrant, since when I disconnect it the sound of the Pro ATC sr in game is clear and without interruptions.

The problem is that when I connect it, the sound problems reappear and I don't know how to solve it.
If anyone has an idea, I'd appreciate it.

Hello, I had the same problem as stated above.

Indeed the problem came from the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle. In my case, it was button 47 affiliated with "Avionic Master 1 OFF" that was causing the problem.

All I had to do was flip the switch and everything was back to normal.

Hope this helps some.

Thanks to Biojose for telling me where to look.

This is what I have figured out.....  make sure you have the avionic bus switches ON on the HC yoke and the voice stuttering goes away on PRO ATC.
