Simonsolution B737 desktop simulator.

Does anyone have any experience with this hardware? I have for a long time thought about building a home cockpit, but both the technical complex solutions and the costs has stopped me so far. Simonsolution desktop simulators shall be plug and play, and the costs are affordable, so this can be a solution for me.

Bruk PMDG 737 med Opencockpits hardware plus OC4BAv5 eller Oi4FS software fra rksoftware.

Plug&Play og rimeligere B737 cockpit hardware og software.

I own the SimOn Solutions 737 Compact Trainer Professional w/ the motorized 737 Max TQ and the rudder pedals. I absolutely love this setup for those with limited space this is great setup for under $20k shipped.

I sent my deposit 12/6/21 my sim shipped from Warsaw Poland on 3/23/22 and arrived 3/25/22 in 5 boxes/crates. I was told 8-12 weeks once my 1st deposit arrived to build and ship. Due to war and covid my sim was delayed 2 weeks. Everything arrived intact no visible signs of issues.

It took about a day to prep the area I was setting up the sim, unbox, and set up everything. Once everything was setup I setup the following Friday night/Saturday morning for SimOn Solutions to log in and configure my PC, and P3D to work with the system. It took about 4-5 hours for them to get everything configured and running 99.9% we run into an issue with the wheel well light switch not linking with P3D, and the fixed landing light toggle switch (right side) to link with P3d. I opened the overhead and a wire for each of those switches came off a quick 5-minute solder job and I was up and running 100%.

What I ordered

MIP

Overhead

Motorized Max TQ

737 Rudder pedals

Desk/overhead mount

PMDG 737 NGXU P3D license for SimOn Solutions

Plug and play single use computer to run everything. You will just need to buy some HDMI adapters for your video card, and an eqropean to us plug adapter (3 of them if you add the throttles)

I have approx. 100 hours flying the setup close to 60 hours on Vatsim. We had an issue with the AP and an issue with the landing gear lights and flap gauge lights illuminating 40% of the flights. After a few emails of logs SimOn Solutions tech support found two double entries in the configuration that caused the issue. Since then, it’s been perfect.

The quality is top notch no cheap plastic 3D printed stuff. I would recommend this setup to anyone with limited space or no need for a dual setup this single seat is a 10 out of 10.
