Sound volume low only if ATC speaks back to me

Featured Replies

Hello, sound level issue - if P2A/ATC speaks back to me after my communication (e.g. after I said "[callsign] radio check" the sound volume is very low. In Config / Voices volume is all set to 100%. If I press "test" next to each voice, volume level is OK. If ATC speaks itself (e.g. ATIS) sound volume is also OK. PC chatter works also fine.  If P2A interacts itself with built-in co-pilot, the sound volume is also OK. The problem occurs ONLY if P2C speaks back to me after I initiate communication as described above.
Sometimes, the sound volume increase itself for a while. Again - only if ATC speaks back to me after I asked them for something.
Tried it with both Windows built-in and Amazon Polly voices

What I responded to you with on Discord:

I just had the chance to glance at the documentation (I'm not in the sim at the moment). Check the Volume settings under the COM Frequency window.

Yes, but it does not work for me. Clicking on Standby Freq does not open the dialog window for me

The dialog may be coming up under some other window or even on a "phantom screen".

If it's not under another window, try this:

1)    After clicking the Stby Com Freq, hover over the P2A icon on the Taskbar. There should be multiple windows and one is the Radio Freq window
2)    Hover over that window and a larger thumbnail of the window should show
3)    Right-click that larger thumbnail
4)    Select Move
5)    Hold down the Right Arrow key on the keyboard until the program comes into view
6)    If that doesn’t work, hold down the left arrow
7)    Once the window is in view, use the mouse to move it to the desired location.
😎  Shut down Pilot2ATC so the location will be remembered.
