September 25, 20223 yr I’m not sure if this is the way it always was (probably was), but I just noticed that the Reverb G2 brightness gets lighter or darker as I move my head. If I’m looking straight ahead and I move my head down, the display gets brighter. Same when I move my head right or left. So, I’m not sure if my eyes are reacting to the different lighting conditions in and out of the cockpit, or if there is something inherent in the way VR works. Anyway, just curious if this is something in my setup or if this is a ‘normal’ condition with MSFS in VR. Thanks I9-13900K, RTX 4090, Reverb G2, Simrig Motion platform
September 26, 20223 yr It's normal. The lighting / exposure changes dynamically as you look toward lighter and darker areas, such as looking down into the cockpit and then looking into the sun I don't particularly like this effect they've included and would rather they just improved the overall "dynamic range". Overcast days look too washed out with little contrast, and I find it unrealistic. I suspect they are making use of older existing exposure related coding or something in direct x to save them from having to develop it themselves. Edited September 26, 20223 yr by dogmanbird

I just wanted to confirm it was not a Reverb G2 issue 👍 I9-13900K, RTX 4090, Reverb G2, Simrig Motion platform
September 27, 20223 yr Using the XR Toolkit I set my brightness down and my saturation up and mostly I'm happy with what I see now.
