Climbing to cruise through FL200 over Washington, DC, off of KESN at Easton, Maryland. Washington and KDCA are just off the tail as the Potomac River winds its way along the Virginia-Maryland border back to the Chesapeake Bay in the distance.  Also visible at 12 O'clock to the left of the Potomac is the smaller Patuxent River.  And in the distance to the right of the Potomac is the Rappenahannock River.  The Hjet flight to Indiana today encountered 90 to 110 knot headwinds, and even 70 to 80 knot headwinds at lower altitudes. My flight planning advised the most economic cruise was at FL400. Jet at Easton this morning was $5.12/Gal so my 1,280 lb burn cost me $1,000.  I took on 2,000 lbs in Easton and saved $100 as fuel at my destination is $6.20/gal.  Such is the life of flight sim aviation...
