How's the new 517.48 Game Ready Driver?

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried the new 517.48 game driver from Nvidia?  Primarily, I'm a P3dv5.3 user and MSFS as well.  I look forward to your comments on this driver.

No problems here.  I have about 7 hours with them on P3Dv5.3.  I configure each new Nvidia driver package the same, and the 517.48's seem to offer a bit more vibrance... but not overdone.  Had no issues at all with them (but then, I can't remember the last time Nvidia's drivers caused me issues).

Actually difficult to sense. 517.48 GR landed at about the same time as MSFS SU10.  I have seen some nice improvements but did they come from one? or the other? or both? I tried DLSS 2in MSFS as well as DX12, both together and individually one at a time and I have reverted to TAA and DX11.  I have gained some FPS as seen with Vsync off, but when I fly I usually lock frames at 30.  Certainly with MSFS the new driver causes no harm.  My system specs are below in my footer.

I downloaded it and I'm using it.  So far, it seems stable.  Thanks for your input.
