October 11, 20223 yr Certainly an upgrade over the Quest 2 in every way - and arguably the most capable VR headset on the market. If it were $500 I would definitely consider it - but $1,500? The Quest 2 is still a bargin IMHO - 70% of the capability (especially if you are streaming from a PC and not running apps on the native processor) for 80% less $$$. October 12, 20223 yr They should make one for $500 less that won't 'enable' the metaverse. Who wants to enable octopus hands anyway? 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
October 17, 20223 yr Yup, way too expensive for consumer consumption. PICO 4 is looking to be the way to go if you don't like cables.
