Have been using the DX10Fixer in FSXSE for years and no problem. All of a sudden there are black dots along the roads. See attached. I went on AVSIM and was told it was a DX10 problem. I turned off DX10 Preview and sure enough the black dots went away. What to do to get the fixer back on track?

You were running without the fixer, did you reinstall fsx perhaps?  Open the dx10 controller, install the libraries.  If it claims libraries are installed, then uninstall the libraries then reinstall.  if the path to fsx has changed use the top menu to alter the setting to allow emergency change of path ( I cannot recall the exact name but it is described in the manual)
