Is it me, or is anyone else running FSX on a Vista machine not able to do aircraft.cfg file edits without dragging the file to the desktop first? What's up with that?

Same problem here.Well,not really a problem,just annoying having to do that. Hope someone knows a "fix".

I don't have this problem... I edited the Dornier D0-27 cfg last weekend a few times (changing views) and had no problems with it at all. Even with UAC enabled. Maybe it has something to do with rights and users and that kind of stuff? Are you logged in as an administrator?

Yes, I am logged in as an administrator, and still experience this issue.

Turn off all Vista security. You'll be surprised what you can find and do. :-)fb
