Custom View Question

When I try to save a custom view (alt + number) and the view is almost full screen on the monitor, when I go back in and hit the number to retrieve the view it's only like half screen. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks

Did you hit Ctrl+Nmber?

I think what is happening John, is a peculiarity of the camera system that is used in MSFS. If you continue to hit the camera button you have created, it will toggle between the view you have saved and then, for some obscure reason, will jump to a tighter view and then back again. If I remember correctly this only happens in the 1st view you create as the pilot's view. From what I can remember, all other custom views you create work slightly differently, hitting the camera button a second time will return you to the previous view you have switched from. All very confusing and I can't understand why something so simple can be made so complicated. I would also like to have an infinite option to save custom views, as I have run out of being able to save my own set of views. In fact, I may be alone on this one, but I fail to see why it wouldn't be preferable to have none of the set views in the menu and just allow the user to have the ability to set an unlimited amount of their own views. I hope I have read your post correctly and undertsood what your issue is. I have bitched and moaned about this many times. It drives me crazy. I don't know what is so difficult for Asobo to correct this and simply have a series of custom views that you create and then they stay put.
