November 19, 20223 yr Might want to purchase a copy of FSX - Steam Editon. Regular price is about $25 (not bad for all the planes you get), sometimes on sale for as low as about $8. With this purchase, you would legally own the planes for your use. Downloading them without owning the base sim is likely a violation of the EULA. November 19, 20223 yr Personally found that most of the FSX planes work ok in p3d 5.3, some minor issues, hardly anything wrong. Just copy the planes over from your installed copy of FSX Simobjects > Airplanes folder, and put them into similar p3d folder. I think you'll have to remove (and if I were you - save them outside the folder) the Beaver & the Goose, from the p3d folder, they are ones without a panel, and are AI aircraft. Should be good to go then. Always thought those two aircraft looked pretty nifty in FSX.
