Hi there,I was wondering if there is any way to remove some of the FSX default aircraft from the "select aircraft" screen, without however impacting the usability of these aircraft in missions.When I remove the panel from an aircraft, I understand it won't show up in the list. So I take it you don't ever intend to fly missions ;)

Christian,I would strongly urge you not to delete any of the default aircraft. It was tried by some with FS9 and caused problems. They're there for good reason.The amount of space you are going to save is absolutely minimal.Don't go there.:-eek

It's really very simple. Remove or comment out all the ui_ entries in the aircraft.cfg file!//ui_manufacturer="Cessna"//ui_type="C172SP Skyhawk"//ui_variation=" Blue, Gold"//ui_typerole="Single Engine Prop"//ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"All the "ui_" entries are "User Interface" parameters that determine how they are sorted and displayed in the selection menu......no entries, no display! :)
