Can't start MSFS

Featured Replies

When I try to start it I get a message saying it is offline.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming you have the store version?

Try this: Go to the MS Store.. update all, then go to the xbox app and start MSFS from there.

Greetings. I went to the store and it is not still in my library.

Do you have the XBOX App? (it is a prerequisite of MSFS, that is IF you have the store version of MSFS).

If you don't have the store version then you would probably have the MSFS steam version.. (the later requires authentication via Steam!).

Obviously your sim is offline so you won't connect until you fix the problem..

If you can boot up the sim: go into General Options >> DATA and turn all items ON. At one time or another the MSFS servers crapped out and  may have disconnected you (turned your Online Functionality OFF  but you have to turn it back ON.!)

Mine is bought from Microsoft and I've had it sine the sim came out.

I've got the XBOX app.

It wants me to re-install MSFS.  That said MSFS is still present on the drive.

Try on the network settings to turn off under "Connectivity" IPv6. That fixed it for me.

I've uninstalled and just start a new download. best I can think of to do as nothing else was successful.
