Fenix A320 rudder disconnect button

Featured Replies

Need some help on the rudder disconnect button. When I depress it (and it gets stuck in the down position) to disconnect the rudder pedals from the NWS mechanism for a flight control check during taxi, it disconnects the rudder pedals from the rudder... I can't move the rudder at all. Not sure if I set something up wrong with regards to hardware. Otherwise the rudder/tiller mechanism works as it should.

Do you have separate axis for rudder & tiller in the sim ?

Tiller is set to nose wheel steering axis and rudder to rudder axis.

Well, I just loaded MFS and the Fenix A320 to test your situation and indeed the same is happening now here too 😕

I haven't used the Fenix for a while, so I can't really say when it started not working as supposed.

I'm on the SU11 Beta channel.

Thank you for calling my attention into it.

I just opened a support ticket.

Thanks, was gonna do that next. Let me know what comes out of it.

If you are on a beta they won't official support it till released officially

I'm not on the beta. Does it make a difference?

I have already been contacted by the support and they asked a question, the same I had asked you Nixoq, regarding having assigned separate axis for rudder and tiller, but they didn't say anything about the fact that I was using the Beta version of MFS 2020 with SU11.

As soon as I get additional feedback I'll add it to this thread.
