Vancouver sightseeing

As requested... here is the proposed plan for our Wednesday flight, January 18, 2023.

Taking off from Pitt Meadows airport, taking in the sights over Vancouver, The Gulf Islands, and the capital city of Victoria.   A route I flew 51 years ago in the right seat of a Cessna 172.

They were all the rage in 1972... but they probably do not fit him any more..  🙂

Modification to my scenery recommendation... suggest not activating the "Main File" and only activate "Part 2 LOD 20" from the CLI4D Vancouver package if you are using the SamScene scenery.

At the cost of some Asobo PG buildings in the older part of the city, the scenery loading stutters (at least on my system) are pretty much gone.  You can go for a test flight out of CYVR and try with and without if you have the time ahead of our flight.

I plan to fly the amphib Beaver since two of the airports are seaplane bases and three if I land at in Fraser River Flying Beaver Bar & Grill instead of on the runway at CYVR.

In that case the SamScene package is "very" highly recommended..

One more...

The PG scenery leaves a "half cruiseship" at the pier when Samscene is loaded.

With some help on the Mamu Discord forum, I have been able to replace that with a new cruiseship..

Looks much better. 😉

Yes.   Bridges and Ports are no longer needed.
