January 18, 20233 yr I have a few questions for the Fenix folks that I thought I would ask here. I know they have a Discord page, but I am not too sure how to use that and looking at the page I have saved, there doesn't seem to be too much activity in a few months. I thought I would check to see if any of the following are being worked on or considered. Thanks! - Icing... Currently, it is recommended to have icing turned off in MSFS. Does Fenix plan to have that fixed in the near future so we can use realistic winter opps? - Printer - Do you plan on having the capability to actually print out info from the MCDU (performance, load sheet, etc.)? That is super helpful in my opinion - Discord - Can anyone tell me how their Discord works (call me an old timer) but it says I need to complete one more step in order to post but when I add my phone, it says there is something already created. However, all of the content i see in there is from last year. I see a bunch of people in there, but no new posts. Thanks! Aamir said he does plan on addressing the unrealistic icing problems with the aircraft sometime in the future. On 1/11/2023 at 8:52 PM, Aamir said: (...) Make sure your MSFS icing is switched off, we don't play nice with this (for now). Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
