This DEP error is driving me batty. FSX under Vista (32 bit) closes because of this most of the time now. I even get it after a "normal" FSX session when I close the program (the DEP screen appears after I shut down FSX normally). I discovered that you can disable DEP completely in Vista, but I'm not sure this is the way to go, since the dawg gone thing is supposed to protect me?? I am also getting "fatal error" messages now, but I'm not sure this is related to the DEP behavior. Should I go ahead and shut DEP down completely on my system? I tried turning it off just for FSX, but Vista won't allow it. I have also enabled DEP on "essental programs and services," but I'm still having the problem. I guess FSX is an "essential" program!
