  1. I've been using the 124th ATC plugin and enjoying it, but I have a few questions: On departure I am always handed off to center from tower...no departure. Is this normal? I do get approach control on arrival, however. No matter what cruise altitude I file, I always get a VFR flight. Is it dependent on the weather? I would still like to fly an IFR flightplan even if it is VFR weather. Is it possible to use different voices? Right now I have only one voice saying everything. Thanks! Paul
  2. Hi guys, My current install won't start...all I get are a few black boxes that quickly appear and disappear. I usually have the latest beta installed but I tried "rolling back" by using the updater with the "download public betas" box unchecked and I still get the same problem. Any ideas? Here is my current log.txt file. To be honest, I read it over and can't find where the problem might be due to my own lack of knowledge.   6. Hello all, I am suddenly having a strange problem where if I click on a switch in the cockpit (the alternator switch, for instance), it will not move to the opposing position. I can see it "want" to move (in other words, it starts to move, then clicks back into the same position). I thought maybe it was my Saitek Switch Panel creating a conflict, but I unplugged it today and it still happens. I just bought the Airfoil Labs C172 and it looks INCREDIBLE, but I can't start the engine! This is happening to ALL aircraft. Help!! Thanks!! Paul

  8. Hi guys, I just updated my P3d to v3.3 and I run a triple monitor setup, but I can't for the life of me figure out where to access the changes to the muti-monitor support? I checked the settings screens within P3D and it all looks the same to me. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks! Paul

    Coolsky DC-9

    Hello! Has anyone managed to get the Coolsky DC-9 running in P3Dv3? I tried installing it by simply changing the P3Dv3 folder to v2, and when I fire up the sim I can see the aircraft with all of it's liveries, but after loading I just get a black screen and the sim locks up (I need to ctrl-alt-del to shut down). Any thoughts? I have read that some have had success using the Estonia Migration Tool, but I currently don't have it. I am running Windows 10. Thanks! Paul

    Help Needed!

    Hi Bob, I just deleted the P3D files in documents, but can you tell me where I can find Program Data? I have my User Account set to the lowest security setting, so it never bothers me when I install programs, and I almost never have to run programs as an administrator, although I did try that with P3D and I still get the same error message. I am downloading the brand new update released today so I will delete everything and start from scratch again. thanks! Paul

    Help Needed!

    Oh man, I think I messed something up big time. I had FSX boxed installed, along with P3d v2 and v3. I had P3d v3 working great, so I decided to "strip" FSX by uninstalling most of my scenery (LOT'S of Orbx and others), aircraft, etc., just to free up some badly needed disk space. Now, P3d won't start at all. I get the splash screen and then the window that says "Prepar3d exe has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." So, I uninstalled P3d v3 and did a reinstall, but I still get the same error message and fail to run. Any ideas? Thanks!     Hello, Sorry for the dumb question...if I have purchased A2A aircraft (Commanche, Cherokee, Cub, and both Cessnas) only for FSX is there a way to get them to install in to P3D v3, or do I need to purchase them all again for P3D? thanks! Paul
