February 3, 20233 yr AIUI, at the bare minimum you will need a professional licence for XP11 and organise a visit from the FAA. You may also need some kind of association with an ATO (Approved Training Organisation)... but from your name since I guess you are a CFI... probably not so much of an issue. then there is the "what aircraft" question, aiui the C172 is "good to go", but for others they need some finalising to get signed off. Best person to ask this question for details is "probably" Austin.. AutoATC Developer

Even Sporty's is spreading the word. Even thought FAA approved Flight Sims have been around for many years, I think that it's only recently when I've seen Sporty's pushing them to satisfy currency.
