@Hamilton_ the assignment I described earlier will also adjust v/s when that mode is engaged. I use it below 10,000ft. With auto throttle engaged you can adjust your descent rate.

V/S mode wasn’t used on departure.

Exactly, that´s what I said above: "usually used on approaches with lower speeds."

Have you turned on control logging in FSUIPC to see what control is triggered via this switch?

Cheers!

Hi Luke, thanks for your answer. No, but I guess it would be the same I got via Macro (see my post pg 4) that is FSUIPC (RX629300*X55cc,31)

Cheers!

I have no idea what that macro is supposed to do. By and large, if the panel toggles a control, that's more reliable than a mouse macro.

Cheers!

I´ll take a look in FSUIPC, thanks!

I've just landed at Manchester after departing Las Palmas, Canary Isles less than 2 hours earlier.

Here is the flight info starting at the decel position 50nm south west of Tenby, Wales.

As I'm required to be subsonic 55nm before populated areas I plan to be at FL360 / Mach 0.95 at LOMVO - west of Anglesey.

I stay at that altitude until reaching waypoint LYNAS on the north tip of Anglesey and then commence a subsonic descent reaching WAL on the Wirral at 10,000ft slowing to 250kts before descending for the approach to 05R at Manchester.

The whole descent phase takes 26 minutes but it's made longer with the 5m subsonic sector before reaching LYNAS.

Just for info and interest for those planning to buy Concorde now in beta.
