We have therefore strived to faithfully recreate the reliance on paper-based materials in our simulation. Our aim is to provide users with an authentic depiction of the resources and tools available to Concorde pilots during that era. By faithfully simulating this aspect of the aircraft's operations, we hope to capture the essence of what it was like to fly Concorde and transport users back in time to experience the thrill of navigating with traditional, yet precise, means.

Looks rather good!

Oof. Good things come to those who......wait.

It can feel as though the phrase 'patience is a virtue' was created for flight simmers and great aircraft add-ons.

My patience is exhausted and my enthusiasm depleted by the continuous pushing back of target dates. Beta next week? Hmmm.

Here's a couple of screenshots. First is the FE panel showing the state as tanks 9 and 10 are empty and I'm about to pump from the two wing tip tanks into 5 and 7. All the switches work and I'm handling it manually.

Finally,  ‘Study Level’ defined.

This morning’s flight from Lisbon to Manchester for 90+ lucky people. Weather provided by Hi-Fi AS16 and ASCA.

Climbing though 15,000ft at 360kts enroute to the accel point on the Portuguese coast. Seven years old but those clouds certainly still work for me.

Wheels down at 1hr 21m having reached FL580 and being subsonic at FL360 35nm west of Anglesey for a landing on 05R.

Isn't this thread about the 32-bit Concorde and not some trip reports in previous planes?

That is the 32-bit FSL Concorde. You appear confused.

Ray.  Andrew has a new post over on the FSL forums which says: "Morning! After a small delay dealing with a P3D v5.4 drop from Lockheed last week, we're anticipating to release the first Beta build to our Concorde team tonight or tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated."

The VC main panel screenshot of the new 64bit Concorde looks good, but the area above the panel (including that "clasp" looking section at the upper left) does not look quite as good. Maybe it is just the angle, but it seems less defined and "crisp" than the other parts of the panel.

I saw that, thanks. Note the word “anticipate”. There have been multiple instances of such words. I only want to hear when something has actually happened. Let’s not forget this was planned to be released in Q1 2023. No explanation has been given why that target was never achieved.

And once in beta I really need to see how the Control Centre software works plus some screenshots of the captain’s view of the primary flight instruments. And the new planning software negating the need for CPS-X which has been invaluable for many years. Lots for FSL to do.

Indeed. Yes. Beta has seemed elusive, let alone release.
