White flashing in cockpit

Featured Replies

I’m getting white flashes in the cockpit very regularly (every few seconds or so), even when there is no lightning in the area or any clouds at all. The whole screen fills with a momentary white flash.

even with clear skies, I’m getting these white flashes. Please help it’s making msfs unusable.

This appears to have sorted it. It’s only started happening in the last 24 hours, have no idea what would’ve caused it. What am I losing by turning Bloom off?

I too had it happen to me. Turning bloom off also solved it. For other reasons, I suspected system instability and ended up reinstalling Windows as well as the sim. Since then I can use bloom without the white flashes.

Turning it off removes the artificial bloom. around light sources. Aside from the fact that it's now harder to see traffic (which was probably artificially boosted), I prefer it off.
