Wingsim: Simon Bolivar scenery help

Featured Replies

I just installed Wingsim's Simon Bolivar scenery into my P3D v5.3 and everything seemed to install correctly except I don't have any jetways showing in the scenery. I did run the SODE exe file that came with the scenery and the SODE files are correctly installed, plus I checked that my SODE is still registered (it is).  Any ideas on why the jetways are not showing up in the scenery?

I did email Winsim, but I figured I ask here also. Maybe I will get a quicker response.

I have the same problem. I also emailed the developer, but never got an answer. If I remember correctly, I checked the SODE .ini file for obvious errors, but couldn't find any. Maybe I overlooked something.

Best regards, Dimitrios

That don't sound to promising.

You're talking about Santa Marta SKSM, yeah?

I have this on SimMarket and my scenery download is a simple .zip of all the assets, including a GSX .ini file. I don't have a SODE .exe installer, but I also have GSX jetways showing without issue. If your download for this scenery is a .zip file, it should contain "sksm-2vaggo.ini." Place that file into your GSX folder (%AppData%\Virtuali\GSX) and your jetways should appear.

So, I looked again and found the .ini file for GSX. It was sort of hidden in the scenery subfolder, along with two effect files. I copied them to their correct locations, and then (after unpausing the sim) the jetways appeared. Thanks again, drobinho!
