Are they still complaining about the mayhem his shop is causing in the village? Can't say I blame them really. Nice peaceful village and then Clarkson's TV show/farm arrives.

The Cotswolds' rural locals, like Gerald, are a fountain of wisdom to outsiders like Jeremy who sometimes has more money than wisdom. Hordes show up the first day to buy from Jeremy's shops, but he uses social media to advertise. I suspect that more than half those customers aren't local but Top Gear fans who came in from far and wide.

I live in Devon, which is in the Southwest of the UK. I can completely understand everything Gerald says as its quite similar to the local dialect spoken around here. I do think they edit it in such a way as to make him sound as incomprehensible as possible.

Well, in my case, they succeeded and the auto-generated subtitles weren't much help but I did enjoy the video simply because he seemed like such a happy person.
