Unknown Jetways - how to identify and remove

Featured Replies

I have Prealsoft Casablanca - GMMN - but for this post it's disabled as I'm trying to identify how these jetways are getting loaded.

I have checked Virtuali\GSX for any GMMN entries and you can see the default ones have been generated. But where are the brown ones with lettering coming from?

I've searched all the obvious places and with the 3rd party Casablanca having been disabled it's not from that. There is a jetway.bgl in the package but I've renamed that so it doesn't get loaded. I'm mystified.

SODE .xml?

Nope. I’ve removed the supplied GMMN folder and renamed the associated xml.

But it does look like the jetway is associated with that Addon.

Yes, I know. But you may have some FSDG scenery and have installed the above mentioned SODE package. It installs all possible FSDG scenery SODE jetways. Also these you don't have the scenery for it.

The FSDG SODE Link will install ALL FSDG SODE files, including those you might not own the airport for. If you have the FSDG Config Tool you can disable the SODE files you don't need including GMMN.

Kind Regards,

Peter

Thanks Peter and @blaunarwal. I’ll check that in the next hour and get back to you. How bizarre!

Using that tool it shows tabs for the airports I've bought but not GMMN.

I've removed the FSDG GMMN folder and xml from the SODE structure and that's resolved the problem.

Many thanks. I wouldn't have solved this without the help of both of you. 👏

If you have the SODE link installed, there should be a separate SODE tab in the tool.

Anyway glad you got it fixed.

Peter

I have no SODE tab in my config tool. There are only sceneries I have. I disabled all manually. How can I add SODE link to the config tool?

I mustn't have as it wasn't visible. All good now, thanks again. 😁

I decided I preferred the GSX jetways so here's the new improved Casablanca...
