September 17, 200619 yr I landed one of my dream jobs this last week... I was hired by SkyWest as a Ramp Agent!I went through a week-long training session last week and I passed with high scores (all of my many tests were over 95% with the exception of one, which was 92%).I start tomorrow (mainly getting uniforms, badges, confirming security clearance, etc). I am very excited! It's too bad that I just moved here because I missed that Avsim conference last year when it was here. This has really been a pretty great year as far as acheivements go... not only did I get a job I've always wanted, but I also got my pilot certificate in August. Well I just wanted to share my excitement with you all!
September 17, 200619 yr Congrats! Don't forget to take a camera to work everyday! You never know when fun experience shows itself. Chris Miller

September 17, 200619 yr Author I definitely thought about that but I will have to make sure that recording devices are allowed. If they are, I plan on buying a mini-camera to mount to a hat or ear muffs so that I can record some first-person "action" footage of what it's like working as a Ramp Agent.
September 17, 200619 yr ROFL, no, remember, West Air-UEX in the late 80's at the FAT base in the dispatch office. Many trips to the ramp though to COMAT stuff to other stations.Remember where you took that vid for us? That's where I worked. Jeff D. September 17, 200619 yr Author Yeah I remember... I just didnt know if you worked the ramp at MCI or anything.Hey I just grabbed your EMB-120 from the OSS site... nice plane. You know of any good soundsets that would work best for it? (I edited because I asked if you knew of any DLC/UAX/OO repaints but I found a UAX paint on your site, and didnt see OO or DLC so I figured there aren't any)
September 17, 200619 yr Oh no, not at MCI.Have no idea about soundsets for the freeware 120. I'm sure just about any P&W would work though. it was a pretty standard engine. Jeff D.
