April 16, 20233 yr Question regarding autopilot: How do you get the ascent autopilot to change the vertical speed its holding? As you can see in my screenshot it’s holding a 1000 fpm rate. However when I roll the ‘pitch’ wheel nothing happens. I assumed it would change the FPM. image1439×1219 251 KB
April 16, 20233 yr I dont actually own the 414 but is it not the case in your screenshot that the AP is off? The Mode Selector panel has AP in amber and beside the pitch wheel you have highlighted, the AP switch on the right seems to be in the off position?

April 16, 20233 yr Your AP is not engaged. You need to flip the white rocker switch that is to the right of that pitch wheel you have circled. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
