Trouble changing Time

Featured Replies

Tonight logged in and it downloaded an update

When I select a flight:

Go to map, select airport, runways then I try to change the time slider it does not work

Went into Flight conditions

Weather and Time

I click on Live or Preset or Custom nothing happens

Do I need to go somewhere to make thses active?

Can anybody please help.

Do not know what to do

Can't remember exactly which one but change the online or other players traffic options

I am pretty sure that if you have selected Live Players in this screen you cannot change time since you are basically joining a multiplayer flight:

Selecting "Off (Group)"should give you the option to change the time slider, perhaps the All player option as well.

In addition, the "Weather & Time" option needs to be set to "Custom" ("Preset" might work as well, but I've never actually used that option so I can not verify).

I always have live weather switched on and group flights off and I can change the time. I often change the time though since I prefer flying in daylight.

Yeah, live, same here.

For me, the easiest way to change time in the main screen is at the bottom left corner of the world map.  Once in the sim, the time can be changed with the weather pop-up (cloud icon).  Unfortunately, the sliders aren't real precise... usually 2-3 minutes per tick.
