A couple of questions about Taxi Mnt

Featured Replies

I'm using MakeRwys to import the scenery data from MSFS' 3rd party airports. Works fine in most of the cases. What I did notice, is that a) all hold short points are being imported as ILS hold short points, and also b) there are usually taxi points AFTER the ILS hold short point leading onto the runway.
Now I know that a) and b) are against the documentation rules you give with P2ATC, BUT so far I've not noticed any problems with ATC. E.g. yesterday on an airport with only ILS hold short points and taxi points leading onto the runway thereafter, ATC said "Taxi to Runway Three Zero Via taxiways Foxtrot, Seven, Mike, Alpha,  Hold Short Runway Three Zero". This sounds good to me... or am I missing something? So what's the problem with those things?

As long as you get good Taxi instructions, then there is no problem.

The directions for editing are set up to avoid problems that can be introduced when editing, but as long as taxi instructions are good, you should not do any editing.

I'd like to know if it works before doing a flight on it, especially since a flight usually only covers a small part of the taxiways / runways. So what *could* happen?
