Regenerating the RC solved a CTD issue I had at every flight over the NYC/New Jersey area (with the Longitude in my case) after SU11. Yes Ed. And if you return to my post that started this topic you and others will see that I have done that twice. Also if others here would review the original post it would point out that this is the first CTD experience I have had in a year-and-a-half. I am starting with AI Traffic since that is my only recent change. May not fly until tomorrow as I have a good bit of outside lawn work here this afternoon. It was worth a shot then since it helped me so much. I was surprised to learn that even an addon thousands of miles away can mess things up when not named properly. Found and watched this video:https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/fixed-ctd-exception-code-0xc0000005-crash-to-desktop/266671I realize I made a recent change to AI Traffic. Found and watched this video and that seems in context to what I experienced yesterday. So my first step is to address what I changed, though I made no notes about the change. Or simply turn AI traffic off. Thank you for asking. Took out AI traffic as suggested by the video in the link above. 2 hour, 3 hour flights and no more CTD's. I also went back to an earlier nVidia driver, 531.79, though I had not made a recent change. Also unloaded the NYC area scenery from Community (via Addons Linker) as the CTDs occurred on multiple attempts of a flight from KLGA to KMDW. 2 out of 3 of those changes reference posts mentioned earlier in this topic.
