June 10, 20232 yr Hi Dave, After working flawlessly for months, all of a sudden Pilot2ATC has stopped hearing me. The Grammar Help test works fine and hears me but when I press PTT in the sim and request clearance, nothing.. I haven't changed any settings and have followed all of your advice in the various posts here too. Any ideas? This is with an HP Reverb USB Audio and no, I can't use 3.5mm sorry. The Reverb Audio has been working fine with no problems. I haven't changes any settings or installed anything different in the sim or on my system (Win 10). Any ideas? June 10, 20232 yr Author Restarting Pilot2ATC a couple of times seems to have woken the ATC up again. Not a system error, definitely something to do with Pilot2ATC though. Thanks Dave Ryzen 5800X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, Windows 11
June 10, 20232 yr Commercial Member If ATC hears you and responds without voice, you will see the Text of the conversation in the bottom right of the Main window. If that is the case, the issue is most likely with the Voices in Windows or volume settings in Windows or P2A. If you don't see any text responses from ATC, but always get recognized in Grammar Helper, the issue might be the PTT button or HotKey. To test that, you can try using the on-screen PTT button on the Main P2A window. Also, some sound settings or add-ons in Windows can cause the Voices to be intermittent or not be heard at all. Sonic Suite is one such add-on. Dave
June 10, 20232 yr Author Always the second issue. No text responses from ATC but recognised in Grammar Helper. I tested the PTT assigned key and it works fine. No other custom sound settings. As mentioned, it normally works fine and, over the last two days, stopped listening to me. I was able to solve it by restarting Pilot2ATC though. Ryzen 5800X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, Windows 11
