June 27, 20232 yr Commercial Member Is there any way (ideally an LVAR) to detect whether FS2Crew is operating and active in the simulator? I need to create some alternate code paths if this is the case, and would like an easy way to detect it. Cheers! July 1, 20232 yr Author Commercial Member To elaborate, it appears that when FS2Crew is running, the sim reports GEAR LEVEL UP when on ground, which is both problematic and inaccurate. The gear position readings (unrelated I think to FS2Crew) have their own issues, especially after a restore. Any assistance would be appreciated. July 2, 20232 yr Commercial Member Hi Luke, Are you referring to MSFS or FSX/P3D FS2Crew products? Any particular one in mind? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
July 2, 20232 yr Author Commercial Member Hi Bryan - I think the FSX/P3D variants. Are they all different in terms of detection? Cheers Luke Kolin I make simFDR, the most advanced flight data recorder for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane.
July 3, 20232 yr Commercial Member We don't really have a singular "FS2Crew is running" LVAR that we transmit. Have you personally verified this report of gear up? Which FS2Crew are you testing with? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
