I've got a 7900X3D laying around I can use, but will need to buy a second video card for the client machine. Trying to work out if I should get a cheaper 4070 or another 4090 for the client PC? Any suggestions? Yes. Server : 4099 > 2x 43” Sony Bravia 100 hertz 4K TV. Cliënt : 4080 > 1x 55” Sony Bravia 100 hertz 4K TV. It all depends on the amount of detail you want. Using tLOD at 50 or 150 makes a big difference. Car traffic at 10% has a lot less impact on performance (especially at approach with a large airport in front of you ) than 20%. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

Thanks - I think perhaps I'll go for the cheaper 4070 Ti in the client. Out of interest how do you have your 3 xTV's setp? 1 to the left, one in the centre and 1 to the right? Which TV's does the server run? Thanks for your advice - just trying to get as much infomation as I can to make informed choices before I go and spend a lot of money. Other question I can't seem to get an answer to is about displaying the virtual cockpit of airlines like the PMDG and Fenix. I think the EULA allows me to run a second copy on my client, but I'm not sure how much extra power this will draw on the client machine - Does the client actually make any sim calculations or is it essentially just slewing around? If its slewing then it should use a lot less processing power. Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs

I use Prosim, a professional cockpit suite software who has its own flightmodel. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
